Luke’s defence lawyer Leon Ackermann said his client’s offending was grounded in her addiction and dependency on marijuana.

“In a large part, the trafficking was to support her addiction,” Mr Ackermann said.

He said Luke had a number of mental health issues, including body dysmorphia and borderline personality disorder.

Mr Ackermann said some of the profits raised from Luke’s drg trafficking went towards her body modifications.

The court was told Luke was now self-employed in the beauty industry and had taken positive steps to her rehabilitation.

In December, Luke pleaded guilty to seven drg-related charges, including trafficking, supplying and possessing dangerous drgs and receiving property obtained from drg trafficking.

On Tuesday, the court was told Luke was identified as a person of interest during a police operation targeting drg trafficking in 2019.
